Do you have a perfect product to review, the writing skills to review it, and a site you want to promote?  I would love to have you as a guest Reviewer!  Just send me an email at Kevin (at) ReviewBunker (dot) com with your idea.  As an incentive for your hard work, any guest reviewer will be promoted by me, along with their blog or site, before and after their review.  Please email me your review idea or finished review, and I will decide if I think that it fits in at Review Bunker - if it checks out I will write a promotional introduction and conclusion, and post your review!

The Idea

In place of asking my readers to “Buy Me a Latte” or “Buy Me a Beer”, or even just asking readers for a Paypal donation, I have decided to instead ask for something that is hopefully easier to give for most people, a bit of your time, effort, and thought. One of my main goals in writing reviews is to gain an audience and provide a service to my readers, and in order to do that I could always use help in blog promotion.

Origins 

I originally wrote a blog entry called 18 Ways You Can Help My Blog over at my first blog UPC - Tech Blog - the idea behind that post was borrowed by a blogger named Will Taft. I am now borrowing the idea back from Will by using this “Contribute” page, and asking you, my readers, to help me promote Review Bunker in the following ways…

How you can help 

1) If you are a webmaster or blogger, take this list, modify it how you see fit, and post it on your own site. If you do, please link back here and tell everyone where you got the original idea and list. You will be helping both of us in the process!

2) Give Review Bunker or a few of my good reviews a thumbs up on your StumbleUpon toolbar, or even better, write a review of Review Bunker for StubleUpon.

3) If you are a fan, a friend, or a related blog, add this blog to your links page, or your blogroll.

4) Click this redirect link to visit this blog through Alexa.com - it helps boost my Alexa ranking by telling Alexa that you visited here.

5) Comment on one of my reviews - this might be one of the simplest things on this list, but it helps tremendously in building a community, giving me feedback as a blogger, creating a conversation between people, and encouraging other readers to comment as well. Also, I always visit the sites of people who comment on my blogs, and if I am linked through to another blog, I always try to comment back.

6) Add my blog to your Technorati favorites, or link to me on your blog to increase my Technorati authority.

7) Send me some constructive criticism through email or a comment on one of my posts - help me to improve my writing, my reviews, my topics, and my blog.

8) Send me a good review topic! One of the hardest things in blogging is continuously thinking of fresh and interesting content for your readers - being asked questions or receiving suggestions for topics helps tremendously with this challenge.

9) Subscribe to my full-post feed and keep up with all of my future posts through your favorite feed reader, or subscribe by email.

10) Bookmark any of my reviews that you like or find interesting at .del.icio.us.

11) Interview me, or have me guest post for your blog. I would gladly be interviewed about blogging, tech related topics, reviewing, or any of the topics I’ve posted on, and I would love to be a guest poster on any blogs that want me - just send me an email!

12) Digg an entry you like.

13) Join my community on Blog Catalog, or add me as a friend.

14) If you enjoyed any of the content here tell your friends about this blog - word of mouth is often thought of as the best promotional tool.

15) Send me an email with more ideas to add to this page!
