I have not tried many dog treats that are designed to clean a dog's breath but I do brush my dog's teeth. I try to do it at least once a week. It's really not all that bad. He used to be terrified of the toothbrush but as long as you get a toothpaste that tastes great (like peanutbutter) he should come around. I still sorta have to wrestle with him to get to his back teeth but he knows who's boss so it's not that bad. I recommend learning to brush your dogs teeth. It's not only to make their breath better, but it really is for their dental health. Their teeth can rot just like ours.
